FALL IS IN THE AIR too....the leaves are slowly changing and as the sun sets, it is starting to cool off....this evening was filled with love, fall air, and happiness, the best kind of family shoot there is :) Have a beautiful day!!!

Newport Beach Vow Renewal
I don't know how I got so danged lucky to do what I do, but I thank God everyday for all the opportunities I get to witness amazing things. The love this family has for each other is beyond any words I could ever come up with!! I was blessed to attend the labor of their twins (which turned their family into a family of 9) and watched the most amazing love between a husband and wife unfold. In the hours I was there photographing the labor, the moment that stuck with me is when her husband rocked and SANG to her while she was contracting! It moved me in such a profound way! I believe in love....but that day, I was just brought to tears with how much he loved his wife....so when we were asked to photograph their 10 year vow renewal, I JUMPED at the chance!!! And yet again, I was moved!! They have a very unique and special kind of love for each other and their kids that you just don't see everyday! The way they look into each other's eyes, well, you can just feel it. I was HONORED to be a small part of that amazing evening on the beach and will forever be grateful that I can call this family my friends!!!

Back to School THANK YOU~~~
I would just like to take a second to say thank you to the amazing people who came out to participate in my Back to School mini sessions!!!! It was HOTTTTTT!!!, but I am hoping worth it to you!!! Your kiddo's were all amazing and did so great despite the heat! This was the second time I have hosted this event and I am so excited that this year was so popular that I held a second day!!! As I told most of you, I HATE school photo's....I mean really, they look like mug shots...and for years I have taken my own kids out to a park and gotten their 'school photos'!! so it is so cool to me that all of you came out to have me do your kiddo's school pictures too!!!! I will be doing this again next year, so check back to my Facebook page, my blog, and watch out for my email letting you know sometime in August/September of 2014!! Until then a HUGE thank you to everyone!!!!!!! Here are just a few of the kiddo's I got to see this 2013!!!

These little cousins are going to grow up to be the best of friends!!!!
This picture cracks me up...not all my great poses work...this is the perfect example of that!!! HAHAHA I love the reality of this picture!!!!

9-11
Today is a very emotional day for my family. As the world was watching what was happening in New York, my family was dealing with our own tragedy, a unexpected death in our family unrelated to the horror of the World Trade Center. As I reflect on that day, I remember the dark sadness that loomed over that day. The fear of raising my kids in a world where, not only is there sadness of loosing those you love, but also terror that now had reached our shores. In the days following 9-11 I watched a country band together, and I also saw the strength of my family come together and love each other in the wake of Dale's death. Today, I am so thankful to be a part of the most amazing family and also a citizen of the most amazing country! We have many veterans in our family and some still serving. I am so thankful for their sacrifice each day to keep my family and yours protected! So today, I will bow my head in prayer for those that lost their lives in the World Trade Center, those that lost their lives protecting our country, and those our family has lost over the last several years. You are all respected and missed so very much! I will also hold my head high because I AM AN AMERICAN and I am proud to be a part of this great nation.
