She said I have to hold your hand.........

Photographing families is one of my most favorite things to do.  Meet the C family.  They are this adorable family of 4 that will steal your heart.  We started our day in Old Town Temecula.  I love to shoot there because of all the amazing backdrops available.  From wooden walkways, brick buildings, and garage doors that are not garage doors at all, it provides amazing color to all my pictures!  This family also chose to mix and match blues and greys, which just popped against the backdrops.

We shot at 11am because it was the best time for the kiddos, you know before nap time.  It was PERFECT....the kiddos were so cute, happy, and Little C was the sweetest.  He pretty much fell in love with Alexis!!!!  But who doesn't ;)  

As we made our way around town, looking for locations that provided good shade, we came to one of the most photographed walkways in old town.  Mama wanted a picture of the family holding hands, but Baby C was not having it.  This turns out to be one of the favorite pictures of the day!  The look Little C is giving Baby C is CLASSIC...'UMMMM, She said to hold hands'  BAHAHAHAHA!! 

The day was amazing, the family looked incredible.  So much fun!  Thank you C family. Photographing you is always a pleasure.

At the end of our session, it was brought to my attention that little C needed to be photographed with Woody.  They had told him that he could take his photo with Woody once we got back to the car.  I think Woody and the hat should have been in every picture!  HOW CUTE!!!!

Cousins

Cousins are your first best friends in life...and that held true to these little beauties.  I got the pleasure of hanging out with these three beauties and had such a BLAST!!!  We even found a special fairy meadow and caught a glimpse of a fairy in one of my pictures!!!  Some of my very favorite shoots are with kiddo's this age, they are always so much fun to talk to and hang out with!!! 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I would like to wish this little beauty a VERY HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!!!  Her mama is so super craft and created all these amazing props for her cake smash.  First birthday cake smashes are always a treat because you never know how the baby is going to react to having a big ole cake set in front of them.  This little beauty loved her cake :) and was so dainty eating it.  ADORABLE!!!!!

Fall Family Portraits

It is that time of year!!  When I get to see all of my amazing returning clients, and meet some new families!!!  This family is one of my new families!  The best thing about this family is that their kiddo's all LOVED to make each other laugh!!!  They made my job so easy!!!!  I love that!  FALL IS IN THE AIR too....the leaves are slowly changing and as the sun sets, it is starting to cool off....this evening was filled with love, fall air, and happiness, the best kind of family shoot there is :)  Have a beautiful day!!!

Newport Beach Vow Renewal

I don't know how I got so danged lucky to do what I do, but I thank God everyday for all the opportunities I get to witness amazing things.  The love this family has for each other is beyond any words I could ever come up with!!  I was blessed to attend the labor of their twins (which turned their family into a family of 9) and watched the most amazing love between a husband and wife unfold.  In the hours I was there photographing the labor, the moment that stuck with me is when her husband rocked and SANG to her while she was contracting!  It moved me in such a profound way!  I believe in love....but that day, I was just brought to tears with how much he loved his wife....so when we were asked to photograph their 10 year vow renewal, I JUMPED at the chance!!!  And yet again, I was moved!!  They have a very unique and special kind of love for each other and their kids that you just don't see everyday!  The way they look into each other's eyes, well, you can just feel it.  I was HONORED to be a small part of that amazing evening on the beach and will forever be grateful that I can call this family my friends!!!

 

Back to School THANK YOU~~~

I would just like to take a second to say thank you to the amazing people who came out to participate in my Back to School mini sessions!!!!  It was HOTTTTTT!!!, but I am hoping worth it to you!!!  Your kiddo's were all amazing and did so great despite the heat!  This was the second time I have hosted this event and I am so excited that this year was so popular that I held a second day!!!  As I told most of you, I HATE school photo's....I mean really, they look like mug shots...and for years I have taken my own kids out to a park and gotten their 'school photos'!! so it is so cool to me that all of you came out to have me do your kiddo's school pictures too!!!!  I will be doing this again next year, so check back to my Facebook page, my blog, and watch out for my email letting you know sometime in August/September of 2014!!  Until then a HUGE thank you to everyone!!!!!!!
